Petroleum Prices in Pakistan – Effective from 1 October 2025
The Government of Pakistan has revised fuel rates with effect from 1 October 2025 . According to the official notification, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 4.07 , reaching Rs 268.68 per litre . Similarly, high-speed diesel (HSD) has gone up by Rs 4.04 , now standing at Rs 276.81 per litre .

The rise in petroleum prices is linked to fluctuations in global crude oil markets , the depreciation of the Pakistani rupee , and higher government levies . The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended this adjustment, which was later approved by the Finance Division.
