Punjab Government Announces 80,000 Scholarships and 118,000 Free Laptops for Students

Lahore – October 1, 2025 – The Punjab government has rolled out a historic educational initiative aimed at empowering students across Pakistan. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the launch of the Hunarmand Scholarship and Laptop Scheme Phase-II , promising financial aid, free laptops, and modern educational facilities. Key Announcements 80,000 Scholarships to be awarded on merit. 118,000 Core i7 Laptops to deserving students. Open to students from Punjab, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . Already 27,000+ applications received from KPK and Balochistan. Establishment of 6,000 STEAM laboratories (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics). Launch of Schools of Eminence and Centers of Excellence for quality education.
